Failure is not good.
失败没什么好的。
There is absolutely nothing good about failure. And theres nothing you can pretend to learn from failure.
失败绝对不是什么好事。你也不能假装能从失败当中学到什么东西。
You cant learn anything from failure because dont fet that every single moment in your past has added up to that one moment in your present - where you are lying on the floor moaning your painful and abysmal failure.
你从失败里根本学不到东西，因为你别忘了，你躺在地上为你痛苦和糟糕的失败而抱怨，而正是过去的每个瞬间加和所造成的。
Here are better things to learn from. Failure has many cousins. Learn from one of the cousins:

Curiosity: When something happens and you dont understand why, then ask, Why?Keep asking questions. Clearly, something confusing happened. Ask and ask and ask.Guess what will happen: you will get answers.

Persistence: I get asked: how do I market my book? Or my app? Answer: write another book. Write another app.

The best way to get better, to get more known, to learn the subtleties of your art or your field or your sport, is to simply do it again.

Fiveness: I used to live in regret. One time I sold a business for 15 million. Within two years I had lost almost all of the money.

And it wasnt money on paper. It was money in real life. If I tell you how I lost it you would hate me forever. Thats ok. But its not important for this answer.

The thing you learn first is fiveness. Then you move back to the present. Get healthy. Be around people you love. Start being creative again.

My forite movie of all-time is Cool Runnings. It is loosely based on the true story about the 1988 Jamaican Bobsled team who peted in the Calgary Winter Olympics.

I loved it as a 12 year old kid, and always kept it as my forite movie.

Heres what I mean. After they qualify for the Olympics, they get three runs, on three separate days.

The first run is a disaster, the second run is incredible, and the third one is when they crash.

The driver of the 4-Man sled was obsessed with watching the Swiss team practice and pete.

Before the Jamaicans first run, they copied the Swiss team style and technique and they werent true to themselves. Their first run was a bust, and they ended up in last place after the first day.

Now, why am I breaking down Cool Runnings? I think you can use the three runs they had and can make them relate to your lives.

You can be like the first run and try to be someone else. You can be jealous of other people. You can go off course and not be true to yourself.

Sometimes you can be the best you possible, but something will still go wrong. That is life.
