雅思考试为综合能力考试，非应试教育考试，所以不存在满分的情况。雅思考试没有过与不过的标准，这主要取决与你所申请的院校及专业对你雅思分数的要求。如果你所申请的院校及专业录取分数线较高，相应的，你需要取得的雅思成绩就越高。如果是出国留学的话，一般有7-8分就可以了。 提高雅思成绩方法：
1、 阅读和听力：阅读要注意平时积累，注意语境和语义的表达。听力方面一定要让自己对不同地区国家的口音有了解，至少要熟悉一下包括英国，美国，澳大利亚和新西兰在内的口音。如果平时从来没听过或者对这些口音不熟悉，在考场上一慌可能会错过很多重要信息。
2、写作：小作文考查你对信息的总结概括的能力，如果写太长，把他图表里的每一个信息都描述出来了，那这个能力就没有被展示给考官，也就不能得高分。大作文要注意行文逻辑与连贯，文章段与段之间，段内句与句之间的逻辑结构清晰，递进，承上启下和转折关系分明。
3、口语：口语考察表达，所以要让考官认为你有足够的能力做长篇大论，并且不会因为语言能力的限制不能足够地表达你自己的观点。
