(1) 口服铁剂的护理措施：给予口服铁剂时，首先向病人及家 属说明服用铁剂的注意事项：①铁剂宜小剂量开始，且在饭后服 用；②避免与牛奶、茶、咖啡同服，含钙类食物如豆腐及高磷酸盐食 品如牛奶能与铁剂络合而成沉淀，也应避免合用；③注意药物对铁 剂吸收的不良影响：避免同时服用抗酸药（碳酸钙和硫酸镁）以及 H2受体拮抗药等；④口服铁剂期间，大便呈褐黑色，停药后可以 消失；⑤口服液体铁剂时须用吸管，避免牙齿染黑，影响美观，给患 者带来心理压力；⑥严格遵医用药，不可自作主张，加大剂量，以免 铁中毒；⑦铁剂治疗后自觉症状可很快减轻。
（2） 注射铁剂的护理：注射铁剂采用深部肌内注射并经常更换 注射部位，以促进吸收，避免硬结形成。由于药液溢出可引起皮肤 染色，故注射铁剂应注意：①不在皮肤暴露部位注射；②抽取药液 入空针后，更换针头再注射；③可采取留空气注射法，以免药液溢 出；④注射铁剂不良反应除局部肿痛外，尚可发生面部潮红、恶心、 头痛、肌肉关节痛，淋巴结炎及荨麻疹，严重者尚可发生过敏性休 克，所以注射铁剂应备肾上腺素。
（3） 观察用药后的身体反应，判断药物疗效。
