如何转变教育观念、弃旧汲新，培养出一代有扎实基础、有创新精神、有开拓能力的高素质人才是当今教师的首要任务，那么我们又如何在英语课堂教学中进行创新教育呢？一、营造宽松的学习环境 要培养创造型人才，就必须建立起良好的学习环境，经常在课内外采用肯定性和激励性评价方式来激励学生。对于学生回答的问题，注意发现其闪光点，并及时反馈给学生。
如：你的发音很准确；你回答问题的声音真响亮；你说得非常好；等等。美国心理学家阿瑞提对个人创造力提出了十分独特的见解，他认为，与集体活动相补充的“单独性”，与紧张学习工作状态相对比的“闲散状态”，与理性思维相反的“幻想”，以及摆脱禁锢的“自由思维”，是培养创造力的重要条件。因此教师在平时教学中应关爱学生，信任学生，尊重学生，师生间形成民主、平等的人际关系，使学生身心愉悦，有安全感，形成积极向上的精神状态和健康的心理。
只有不断创设这种宽松、和谐的学习环境，学生的思维才会不受束缚，他们才会自主学习，才可能去探索、去创造。...
