在高中英语教学中，语言输出是体现学生语言运用能力的重要环节，而作文是评价学生语言运用能力的重要手段，提高学生的写作能力对提高学生对英语语言的认识和运用具有重要的意义。很多高中英语教师并没有意识到作文讲评课的重要性，往往只是把作文改完发给学生，让学生背诵就算完成了任务。学生不清楚自己的作文好在哪里，哪里需要改进、提高。教师下了不少功夫，可学生的语言运用能力并没有本质的提高。笔者根据自身经验总结出上好作文讲评课的准备和导学案的设计提出以下几点建议：
一、要精心备课科学的作文讲评要求教师在课前精心准备，一是对作文本身进行分析；二是对学生错词错句情况进行统计分析，做到心中有数，目的明确。这样做能够加强讲评时的针对性和有效性。教师要对作文的类型、文体进行分析，分析试题的命题思路、考查角度和意图以及答题思路和技巧。要对学生的作文写作情况进行分析；逐项分析学生出现的错误及原因，了解学生对某个知识点的掌握程度；分析学生写作思路，正确的和错误的都要分析，以了解学生在平时学习中的弱点。
