可爱的小猫 暑假的时候，我们一家一起回去看望爷爷奶奶。奶奶家有一只人见人爱的小猫，我给它取了个名，叫“小淘气”。 它长着黑白相间的绒毛，从远处看，它就像一个黑白相间的“大绒球”，它的耳朵十分灵敏，一点儿声音都休想逃过它那灵敏的耳朵，它那圆溜溜、亮晶晶的眼睛，可真漂亮啊！它的脚长着肉团，走起路来，不会发出声音，抓老鼠时，老鼠根本不知道猫的到来。
7月29日星期二晴 今天，我坐在椅子上看电视，小猫悄悄走到我手下，目不转睛地盯着我用毛线做的小绒球，我什么事也不知道，过了十几分钟，小猫终于忍不住了，伸出了手，摸了摸小绒球，小猫的举动可把我吓坏了，我还以为小猫要爪我呢！原来是虚惊一场。我把小绒球放在小猫面前，小猫东摸摸西碰碰，越玩越带劲，使出全力把小绒球带回“家”——猫窝。
小猫一不小心，把毛线弄松了，滚到“家”里时，小猫才发现：怎么球变小了呢？真奇怪。“哈哈！”小猫可把我给逗笑了。 晚上，夜深人静，小猫正忙着抓老鼠呢！老鼠出来觅食了，机警的小猫是不会放过它的，小猫猛地扑过去，抓住了这只老鼠，小猫正在享受一顿美食呢！ 7月30日星期三晴 今天早上，我在小猫碗里放上了丰富的食物，有鱼、米饭和青菜。
下午，小猫的碗里只有鱼被吃完了。我心里浮现出了一个问号，为什么小猫只爱吃老鼠和鱼呢？我去问爸爸，爸爸在看电视，我不想打扰他，破坏爸爸的兴趣，妈妈又和奶奶一起拔菜去了，没办法，我只好去找我的那本《十万个为什么》，“找到了，找到了！”原来，小猫是夜间活动的，要补充牛黄酸，牛黄酸能补充小猫夜间活动的视力，如果没有牛黄酸，小猫夜间活动的能力就会下降，就不能完成捕捉老鼠的“天职”了。
鱼和老鼠体内含有大量的牛黄酸。所以，小猫爱吃鱼和老鼠。“哦！原来是这样。” 我们住了一个星期，又该走了，小猫依依不舍地叫：“喵喵喵……”好像在和我说再见。
