A Good Boy Little Robert asked his mother for two cents. "What did you do with the money I gave you yesterday?" "I gave it to a poor old woman," he answered. "You're a good boy," said the mother proudly. "Here are two cents more. But why are you so interested in the old woman?" "She is the one who sells the candy."

A Butterfly's Lesson One day, a small opening appeared on a cocoon; a man sat and watched for the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then, it seems to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could not go any further. So the man decided to help the butterfly: he took a pair of scissors and opened the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a withered body, it was tiny and shrivelled wings. The man continued to watch because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would open, enlarge and expand, to be able to support the butterfly's body, and become firm.Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a withered body and shrivelled wings. It never was able to fly. What the man, in his kindness and his goodwill did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening, were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings, s o that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon. Sometimes, struggles are exactly what we need in our life.If God allowed us to go through our life without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could have been. Never been able to fly. I asked for Strength...And God gave me difficulties to make me strong.I asked for Wisdom...And God gave me Problems to solve. I asked for prosperity...And God gave me a Brain and Brawn to work.I asked for Courage…..And God gave me obstacles to overcome.I asked for Love...And God gave me Troubled people to help.I asked for Favors...And God gave me Opportunities. “I received nothing I wanted...But I received everything I needed." Live life without fear, confront all obstacles and evince that you can overcome them.

Some times,struggles are exactly what we need in our life。

The Fox and the Grapes

One hot summer's day a Fox was strolling through an orchard till he came to a bunch of Grapes just ripening on a vine which had been trained over a lofty branch. "Just the thing to quench my thirst," quoth he. Drawing back a few paces, he took a run and a jump, and just missed the bunch. Turning round again with a One, Two, Three, he jumped up, but with no greater success. Again and again he tried after the tempting morsel, but at last had to give it up, and walked away with his nose in the air, saying: "I am sure they are sour."

(One hot summer's day a Fox was strolling through an orchard),看到一串熟透的葡萄沿著藤蔓高挂在上 (till he came to a bunch of Grapes just ripening on a vine which had been trained over a lofty branch.)。 他这麽说著 ("Just the thing to quench my thirst," quoth he)。 (Drawing back a few paces, he took a run and a jump),可惜没构到那串葡萄 (and just missed the bunch),往后再退了几步,一、二、三,往上一跳 (Turning round again with a One, Two, Three, he jumped up),还是没有构到那串葡萄 (but with no greater success.)。 (Again and again he tried after the tempting morsel),可最后还是放弃了(but at last had to give it up),最后离开,鼻子嗅了嗅说 (and walked away with his nose in the air, saying):「葡萄太酸了 ("I am sure they are sour.")。」

The moral is that:It is easy to despise what you cannot get.
