牛人的自我介绍英文General Introduction I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program. Education background In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China's best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test. At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of Excellent Graduation Thesis. Research experience and academic activity When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product. In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining. 首先，准备英语面试时的自我介绍，要特别注意两点：一、条理清楚、用词准确。二、真实展现自己的本质，不要用夸大或吹嘘的词语。有些人喜欢在做英语自我介绍时夸张地表现自己的优点，甚至把根本没有做过的事情也说出来，其实这是一种很冒险的行为。
I was born in a small village of Shan Dong Province on April 4th, 1968. When I was young, my family was very poor, so I had to work to earn money to help my parents after class when I was in the middle school.
In 1986 I was admitted by University of International Business and Economics (or: UIBE) to pursue a bachelor degree in Economics. My major is accounting in Department of International Business Management. The undergraduate education gave me a wide range of vision and taught me how to cooperate with others. I developed several professional interests in Accounting, Finance, and International Trade.
The following eight-year working experience offered me a good chance to give full play to my creativity, intelligence and diligence. In 1990-1993, I worked as an assistant to funding manager in China National Technical Import and Export Corporation. In 1993-present, I was employed by China Kingdom Import and Export Corporation to be the Manger of Financial and Accounting Division.
I do believe that with my hard early life, solid educational background and ample working experience, I would be an excellent student of you MBA program.

MBA提前面试主要分为三个部分：网申材料，个人面试和小组面试。我是18年刚参加的MBA面试，我分整体和各个部分的来说下注意点。整体上来说，MBA面试的申请材料决定了考官对你的第一印象和个面提问思路，个面又再次确定并且决定了你的个人整体印象，所以重要的事说三遍，一定要写好材料，写好材料，写好材料。那细分的来说：网申材料是我们的门面，所以不管面对怎样的MBA面试官，材料都是至关重要的，真实有逻辑能够让我们处变不惊，从容应对，并且在个面老师提问的时候不会出现和材料对不上的情况。网申材料的关键词是：真实，有逻辑，结合不同MBA院校招生理念和培养方向突出自身优势。一定要注意想清楚自己的优势在哪并且有逻辑的写出来，这个很重要。个人面试一共20分钟，2~3分钟自我介绍，最后5分钟英语面试，中间都是个人面试问答。
个面的关键词是：积极热情，面带微笑，自信从容，有逻辑，突出优势，把控时间。首先，积极热情可以影响到老师的心情，心情好的老师给高分，也可以影响到自己的心情，消除紧张。第二，老师不管问什么问题，都要清晰逻辑，并突出自己的优势，表现出我们就是MBA招生院校想要的优秀学生。最后说一下英文面试，英文面试就一个注意点：说。一定要说，英文基础差的人要给考官一种你很流利的感觉，英文基础好的人要突出自己流利的优势。组面一共是60分钟，基本上是10分钟审题写观点，每人1分半到2分钟陈述观点（12~16分钟），25分钟自由讨论，5分钟总结报告，5分钟补充，前面时间如果用太多，可能就没有补充的时间了。组面的关键词是：合作共赢，安排分工，有效发言， 注意审题，热情积极，眼神交流，做好笔记。
组面的主心骨是要和大家一起合作一次完美的答题，所以大家合作很重要，首先，尽量利用进入面试室之前的讨论时间大家安排好每个人的分工。第二，要注意审题。如果一整个团队都审题不清，那结果就是全军覆没。第三，有效发言非常非常重要，在整个组面过程中，我们每个人至少要有四次有效发言。最后，可以和组员有一定的眼神交流，以及像点头，微笑这样的反馈，这个我认为是加分项。...

1. 我们一进入考场，考官一般都要求作自我介绍，开头可以用一句话引入，例如：Dear professors, I feel so glad to meet all of you here。 然后就可以进入主题，介绍自己及相关的信息等等。
2. 自我介绍的主体内容
① 姓名，介绍自己姓名时，发音一定要慢要准。
② 年龄，年龄可说可不说，可以跟在姓名后带过（I am XXX, 25 years old），也可以加上家乡和家庭的介绍。
③ 原来的院校、专业：一定要把原来学校或公司的英文名称、专业的英文名称弄清楚。在职考生则应将自己公司、自己职位、职称的英文名称弄明白。
④ 性格、能力，可以着重强调你的个性对你报考的专业有何积极的作用。以下是可供选择的形容词：carefully,detail-oriented、logical、steady、responsible、dependable、efficient、Aggressive、adaptable、amicable等等。
在职考生或有过工作经验的考生还可以强调一下你的工作成绩，如：As the assistant to the General Manger of XXX Company, I have helped to negotiate a $200,000 deal for the corporation。
⑤ 爱好，一般可以从体育、音乐、电影等方面来说，同时要简单说明这些爱好对你的积极意义。
⑥ 你对报考的专业有兴趣，可适当举出一些例子，如经常看相关的书籍、论文、文章、新闻等。在职考生可以强调知识教育对工作的影响。
