生命在于运动，运动不但能强身健体，还能陶冶情操，它代表着公平与正义。在运动场里，人人必须遵守规则，否则将被逐出场地。运动是勇气与毅力的升华，是敢于拼搏，敢于努力者的天地！我酷爱众多体育项目中的乒乓球，因为它集速度、技巧、耐力于一身，是锻炼快速反应，敏捷动作的极佳运动。其实，真正让我爱上这项运动的是一位运动员：王励勤。
王励勤叔叔是举世闻名的中国乒乓球国家队运动员。我尤为喜爱他无懈可击的正手拉球，和那坚实完美的反手防御。王励勤快节奏的进攻已经足以让对手窒息。如果再发扬拉球稳、准、狠的优点，对手更是没有一丝机会获胜。一位国家队教练曾这样点评他：“当王励勤正常发挥时，他就是一堵墙，没人能从他这里经过。”这样的一位优秀运动员，我怎么能不对他产生崇拜之情呢？
从此，我喜欢上了乒乓球，便开始天天坚持练球。在家里跟爸爸打，在学校跟同学打……每当闲暇无事时，我就拿出心爱的球拍，跟无声的对手——墙切磋。有时，在上课的时候，看着老师一笔一划地写板书，我就不由自主地联想起乒乓球比赛中流畅的球路……终于，功夫不负有心人，我一次次地从外拿回一张张灿烂的奖状，每当这个时候，我总是无比高兴。
有一次，屋外下着倾盆大雨，眼看乒乓球的课外班就要迟到了，我催促爸爸快点开车，可爸爸却说：“下这么大雨，干脆别去了！”我急了，说：“那怎么行，这节课很重要，我一定要上。”当我到达教室的时候，我惊呆了，训练班空无一人，原来那些同学因为天气原因而没来上课啊！教练似乎也很惊讶，为我单独训练，于是我有了一次单独上课的经历。
运动让我健康，让我快乐。我爱乒乓球，热爱运动。同学们，让我们走进运动场，开始运动吧。
