自己慢慢用心体会，刚开始不要着急，练习多了。看看课本上那课文的作者如何做到这一点，简明扼要。
试着找来一些优秀的范文来读读。最基础的方法是将每一个单词和短语都掌握得细致入微，然后试着造句。再利用课本中的精读课文来分析编书者是如何将自己的意思表达出来的。文学类的小文章可能有很多修辞的成分在里面。要在规定的字数内清晰地表达出自己的思想，因为作文要求的是一个思路的严谨和逻辑的明确，自己要在作文中避免这些。两者都可以通过训练有所提升。初中作文在考察你的表达之余可能更看重字数，小学的作文呢看重你对于既往的单词和短语的应用是小学还是初中？如果是小学的英语作文应该都不是很难，不管哪种时期一定要记住三段式及总分总这两个主要标准。
三段式顾名思义，最好有引题、解说和结论。做到有始有终并注意起承转合。总分总说的也是类似的道理
