The oldest and most important festival in China is the Spring Festival, more commonly known in the West as Chinese New Year. Like all Chinese festivals, the date of the new year is determined by the lunar/solar calendar rather than the Western (Gregorian) calendar, so the date of the holiday varies from late January to mid February.The Spring festival celebrates the earth coming back to life, and the start of ploughing and sowing. In the past, feudal rulers of dynasties placed great importance on this occasion, and ceremonies to usher in the season were performed. 在中国最古老最重要的节日就是春节了，在西方被成为中国新年。跟其他的中国传统节日一样，春节也是源于中国传统的农历也就是太阳历，而不是西方的阳历，因此这个节日的日期会在一月底和2月初浮动变化。春节庆祝的是土地的生命复苏，和一年耕作的开始。
在过去一些朝代，封建统治者非常重视这这个场合，欢迎春天这个季节的仪式将会上演。

The Dragon Boat Festival, also called Double Fifth Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth moon of the lunar calendar. It is one of the most important Chinese festivals, the other two being the Autumn Moon Festival and Chinese New Year. The origin of this summer festival centers around a scholarly government official named Chu Yuan. He was a good and respected man, but because of the misdeeds of jealous rivals he eventually fell into disfavor in the emperor's court. Unable to regain the respect of the emperor, in his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Low river. Because of their admiration for Chu Yuan, the local people living adjacent to the Mi Lo River rushed into their boats to search for him while throwing rice into the waters to appease the river dragons. Although they were unable to find Chu Yuan, their efforts are still commemorated today during the Dragon Boat Festival.
元宵节英文简介
The Lantern Festival is celebrate by Chine on 15 of January in the Lunar Calendar. The Lantern Festival also known as Chines Valentine's Day. On that day, man and ladies who are still single will go the bridge near by. They will conduct a ＂Orange Throwing＂ ceremony to look for their desire partner.
