What we call perseverance is a long word which means keeping on and sticking to a piece of work until we succeed in spite of difficulties,failures and defeats. A man with perseverance is the one who coninues his steady supreme efforts to achieve his goal,concentraing on his belief and ambition,regardless of any difficulties. Throughout our history,perseverance is an insurance policy and favorable factor for success,which has always been important to our great achievements. I can think of no better illustration of the idea than the example of Helen Keller,who was born deaf ,dumb and blind,believed firmly that unless she went on to conquer her multiple handicaps,she wouldn't become a writer and lecturer ultimately,which was a great inspiration to all of us. I remember what the proverb goes,＂Well begun is half done＂ from which I realize that if we would succeed in anything, we should keep on perseverance and courage in what we are doing and never lose our self-assurance.
