A proposal of revisions of 44 Chinese characters from the Ministry of Education has brought hot debate in the country on whether the traditional way of writing should be changed.
就教育部关于修正44个汉字的提议，整个国家开始了是否应该改变传统的汉字写法的讨论。
After eight years,the Ministry of Education made a list of 8,300 Chinese characters in common usage to ask for public opinions.
8年之后，教育部列出了共8300个需要修正的汉字，并公开征求意见。
Ministry officials said the way of writing 44 characters in Song typeface（宋体）may be used by compurters and printing machines .
教育部行政人员表示，这44个汉字的宋体写法可能将用于计算机和印刷行业。
An online survey showed 90.2% of more than 340,000 people were against the proposal,while only 5.1% were for it.
据网上调查显示，在将近340.000调查群众中有90.2%的人反对这个提议，而只有5.1%的人赞成。
＂many of the 44 characters are often used.So changing the way of writing them may bring trouble to people,＂said Wang Jiayu ,a Chinese language teacher at a primary school in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region .

It is only a little change for a characters ,but if a puplic asks me which one of the same characrer is correctiy written,I don't know how to reply .There will be much confusion （困惑）if there are different ways of writing the same characters,especially for children,
这只是一点小小的汉字改变，但是如果有人问我“哪个才是正确的啊？”，那么我将无从回答。如果同一个汉字有了不同的写法，总会有人产生一些困惑，特别是孩子们。
