“红红火火过大年”通常指过年时人们十分喜庆，但我这个年，可真够“火”的。

“当当当……”随着新年钟声的敲响，农历虎年来到啦！人们互相传递祝福，家家户户燃放烟花爆竹。美丽的烟火照亮了新年的夜空。当然，我也不例外。为了这一激动人心的时刻，我特地早早地做好了准备工作--买了两大袋烟火。由于奶奶家在农村，门前有一大片柴草，这可成了安全隐患：万一烟火星子燃到了这些柴草，后果不堪设想。为此，爸爸特地提醒了我几句。 晚饭前，天还未完全黑，我就迫不及待地找了一根长条，走到门外，点燃导火线，静静地等待着。几秒之后，一团红色的烟火从棒子里喷发而出，“嘣”的一声在我的眼前飞快地窜过，在夜空中划出一道美丽的弧线向远处飞去，又如流星一般落下消失不见了，“哇！”我不禁咧嘴称好。妈妈来叫我吃饭了，一想到丰盛的年夜饭，我哪里还有心思放这小烟火呀！于是我便匆匆放下刚放完的、还冒着白烟的烟火一头扎进屋里了。
