写作最重要的是把该表达的意思表达清楚、准确，因此，在平时的写作训练中，学生要从基础练起。句子是文章的基础，只有掌握了基本词汇，基本句型，在写作中才能够达到最起码的“达意”。下面列出的书面表达中常用的简单句型，希望对提高同学们写作水平有所帮助。
一. 简单句的五个基本句型
Five Types of The English Verbs
(1)SVP（主语+系动词+表语）
·The hall is beautiful.
(2)SV（主语+谓语）
·The children played.
(3)SVO（主语+谓语+宾语）
·Her husband left the house
(4)SVOO（主语+谓语+双宾语）
·The firm gave Sam a watch.
(5)SVOC（主语+谓语+宾语+宾语补足语）
·They saw him working.
1. 主语+系动词+表语 （SVP）
除系动词be外，还有实义动词转化而来的系动词，如look, feel, seem, get, keep, last, sound等。可作表语的有名词、代词、形容词、副词、动词不定式、动名词、介词短语、从句等。
2. 主语+不及物动词 （SV）
3. 主+及物动词+宾语（SVO）
4. 主+及物动词+双宾语（SVOO）
双宾语结构只能出现在某些及物动词后面，如give, tell, teach, write, bring, lend, show, offer, pass, send, buy, fetch等。另外，可用to或for加间接宾语置于句末。
5. 主+及物动词+宾语+宾补（SVOC）
用于这种结构的动词常是使役动词和感官动词。
作宾语补足语的有动词不定式、-ing分词，-ed分词、名词、形容词、副词等。

1）他学过英语。
He studied English.
2）他在中学学过英语。
He studied English at middle school.
3）五年前他在中学学过英语。
He studied English at middle school five years ago.
