首先，这位朋友已经了解到给孩子英语启蒙有读英文绘本的方式了，这点是很好的。您关注是还是在阅读之后的成效上，那您是否了解孩子子有没有进行跟读，有没有对绘本故事的字词句及故事意思进行了解等。
首先，阅读其实是一个需要长时间坚持下去的东西，语言学习也是。君不见中国孩子以前从中学学到大学也还是哑巴英语，张不开口。更何况一个几岁的孩子，语言的习得自然是要坚持下去要有大量的语言输入才可以。
第二，到底要怎么样带孩子读英文绘本？
首先英文绘本有着丰富多彩的配图，有时候未必看单词，我们看图片结合自己认识的单词，可能就能够把握住这个绘本讲的是什么故事，从而推断出一些不认识的单词的意思，这是一个有英语基础的人才能做到的，有基础的人在阅读的过程中就可以实现单词量的积累，包括字词的运用，能够达到提升英语水平的目标。
如果没有基础的孩子在读英文绘本的时候，家长的引导就非常的重要。家长可以采取带读让孩子跟读的方式，让孩子掌握单词的发音，如果您觉得自己的发音不够好的话，爱子淘学有近万册绘本的原版音频，您可以来借阅给孩子播放。
