I used no books remended by other members. Just the brain dumps to help me focus on what I ought to know.I used general working with UNIX TCP/IP knowledge with some NT utilities and that was all.In my thoughts I think TCP/IP is TCP/IP no matter waich Operating system.

1)A lot of mand line utilities: ARP, STAT, NBTSTAT, NSLOOKUP (know these) as well as PERFOMANCE MONITOR and WORK MONITOR. In my test mostly I answered STAT when it appeared.
Question I had include:
a)Which utility will you use to display TCP/IP statisticss in your work(stat)
b)which utility for IP to physical address(arp)
c)To collect statistics for further analysis(perf mon)
d)to capture packets for analysis(work monito)
2) Know about printing stuff like :What are LPQ, LPD and LPR for?
8) I had 8 scenarios.4 of them had the same requirements and optional required results but each one had different solution.The scenarios had something to do with the the fact that You want to introduce NT server in your work and to enable this server to route:
one said just make it able to route
the other one said enable IP forwarding
the other one one said not only Ip forwarding but also install RIP and so on and so forth.
So I answered invariably as

1) there was one question where they give you a exhibit and you are to drag and drop the proper sub mask for the addresses given and they specify the no. of subs required
2)they give you a exhibit where wkstn1 cannot connect to server1 ,Both in the same sub ?
------>sub mask of wkstn1 makes it lie in a different sub.
------>change the sub mask of both the server & wkstn so that they lie on the same sub (you had to choose two)
3) to capture tcp/ip packets
----->snmp must be installed
4)the buffer of perfmon gets fulll in a min . what to do ?
---->set capture filter (not sure )
5)to check the bios cache
------>NBTSTAT.EXE
6)to transfer small data files without any notable overhead in a unix/NT environment
------>TFTP (not sure)
(But ftp was also a choice)
7)you want to connnect to the inter so how do you configure the default gateway of your RAS server as
------>as the ISP routers interface to my internal work (not sure )
8) how will you monitor the print jobs in tcp/ip printing?

9) you want to add a resource record in a DNS server that identifies the mail server
