考研英语大作文解题方法 1. 着手于字词 单词是写出一个句子的基础。对于基础较差的考生，能把图画中所能看到的元素用英文表达出来是最基本的要求。纵观历年试题，图画中各元素的表达比较简单，大部分考生都能写出来。比如，2003年英语（一）大作文《温室花朵经不起风雨》的第一幅图，图画中各元素的英文表达都是常用简单词汇。我们把图画中元素罗列如下： 风：wind 雨：rain 花：flower 成长：grow 温室：house/glasshouse/greenhouse 2. 连词成句 连词成句是作文的基础。

我们把所用的单词罗列出来之后，下一步要做的就是把词组合成句子。然而，英语中的句式结构复杂繁多，我们应该从哪里入手呢？这里，我们从最简单常用的“主语+谓语+宾语”结构入手。英语中的“主语+谓语+宾语”结构与我们汉语中的一样，我们用起来比较习惯顺手。比如，“我喜欢你”用英文表达就是“I like you”。下面我们把所罗列的单词用“主语+谓语+宾语”结构组合成句子： A flower grows in a greenhouse on a rain and wind day. 或 A flower is growing in a greenhouse on a rain and wind day. 3. 加词换词 加词换词是丰富句子的基本方法。

我们在第二步中写出的句子足以充分的描述图画，然而如此简单的表达还不能达到考研英语的要求，更不能与优秀的研友相媲美。因此，我们要把简单的句子变美、变丰富。所谓的“加词”就是根据词与词之间的关系加相应的修饰词，比如，名词可以用形容词来修饰（adj.+【n】），动词可以用副词来修饰（adv.+【v】）；所谓的“换词”就是用高级词汇替换简单词汇，比如：show → illustrate, cause→ trigger等。

下面，我们运用这种方法把第二步中写出的句子进行“华丽变身”： A flower is growing in a greenhouse on a rain and wind day. 加词 → A beautiful flower is healthily growing in a warm greenhouse on a rain and wind day. 换词 → A beautiful flower is healthily blossoming in a warm greenhouse on a rain and wind day. 4. 变换句式 变换句式是使作文语言多样的“必经之路”。通过把“主语+谓语+宾语”结构的简单句式转变成包含定语从句、宾语从句、倒装、强调等语法结构的复杂句式，可以使文章语言多样、档次更高。

比如，我们把第三步中得出的句子进行句式变换，可以使句子档次一步步升级： A beautiful flower is healthily blossoming in a warm greenhouse on a rain and wind day. 宾语从句 → The picture vividly shows that A beautiful flower is healthily blossoming in a warm greenhouse on a rain and wind day. 定于从句 → A beautiful flower is healthily blossoming in a warm greenhouse on a rain and wind day,which is vividly depicted in the picture. 用As引导 → A beautiful flower is healthily blossoming in a warm greenhouse on a rain and wind day,as is vividly depicted in the picture. 从句提前 → As is vividly depicted in the picture, a beautiful flower is healthily blossoming in a warm greenhouse on a rain and wind day. 需要说明的一点是，变换句式是作文的难点，是写好一篇作文的必备技能，对考生的要求比较高。
