当你遇到很复杂的单词，如专业术语，其实他是可以拆分成词缀和词根的，而词缀又大多来自希腊语，拉丁语。比如hypnosis（催眠状态）词源来自希腊神话中的睡神hypnos（希波拉斯）；再如，星期一到星期日，每个词都会牵涉到神话人物，一月到十二月亦如此，不再赘言。
建议你最好搞本词根词缀学方面的书，最好有词源故事，你会发现英语也会象中文一样，背后都有故事，而非凭空妄造、排列组合。那样你会对英语有更全面客观的认识。
